A very good news for bloggers using WordPress.com blog and self-hosted WordPress.
WordPress turned on PuSH support for the more than 10.5 million blogs on WordPress.com. There’s nothing to configure, it’s working right now behind the scenes to help others keep up to date with your posts.
For those using the WordPress.org software, they are releasing a new PuSH plugin: PuSHPress. This plugin differs from the current PuSH related plugins by including a built-in hub.
But wait for a second, what is Push? PuSH, which stands for PubSubHubbub, is a way for services that subscribe to updates from your blog to get updates even faster. See this video to take a better understanding of it:

Yeah, it is an amazing service. Unfortunately, Google Search engine hasn’t used it yet. Push subscribers include FriendFeed, Six Apart, Google Reader, Google Alerts, Google Buzz, Ping.fm, NetVibes and Status.net.
Oh, good to know.
