Samsung Wave S8500: First Bada-powered Handset

Samsung announced the launch of the Samsung Wave S8500. This is the first mobile handset shipped with Samsung’s new Bada operating platform.

The Samsung Wave offers a slim touch screen with a large 3.3″ Super AMOLED display, a fast 1 GHz processor and TouchWiz 3.0 for an intuitive and highly customizable user interface. The gorgeous mobile phone is expected to be available in April 2010.

JK Shin, President and Head of Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics said:
