In the last 3 months, I didn’t write a roundup post to share monthly stats and traffic of my blog as there is really nothing special in April and May. I was very disappointed and even considered selling this site to prepare for my future works. However, what happened in June have totally changed my opinion.
This June has been the best month ever in the 2 and a half year of Tek3D even though I went on holiday for over 1 week. Thanks to many contributors, my blog is still updated with new posts regularly. Particularly, the most important factors like traffic stats, ranking and revenue were improved dramatically and all of them set new high records this June. If you are interested, let’s check out all of these aspects in details.
Traffic Stats
The traffic from search engines didn’t change significantly, however, my blog still managed to set new traffic records with 87,724 Visits, 82,008 Unique Visitors and 109,794 Pageviews. This could be explained by the increasing traffic from social networks and bookmarking sites. The most notable traffic source was Stumble Upon, I wrote a post about awesome Google services 3 months ago and somehow it was stumbled and liked by many people. In overall, it has got over 50k views on SU and become the most viewed post of the month.
The number of visits reached a peak at above 13k visits on June 18, this is also the highest number of visits since the first day of my blog. You can guess most of the visits come from SU. Recently I’ve spent more time to read and like other posts and it seems like more views my blog received after that.
Ranking
2 months ago, my blog had suddenly lost Pagerank, this is probably because I wrote more sponsored reviews at that time. Then I received a lot of useful tips from other blogger and I declined all reviewing and buying link offers to protect my blog from Google’s penalization. This seems to be a good move and it brought good result after just a few weeks. In the last Pagerank update on June 27, my blog’s PR has been recovered to PR2 and my new blog at TechWalls also got PR1.
Beside Google PR, the Alexa rank of this site also increased to around 75k now. The rank is moving quite slowly but the good sign is that it doesn’t drop.
Revenue
My main revenue source is still Google Adsense, however, I am trying not to depend too much on Adsense as it is too risky. Therefore, I’ve tried many other ad networks recently, you can check out my list of sites to make money online here. The diversification of revenue source does not only keep my monthly income more stable but also help boost the earning dramatically. The proof is that just the 2 CPM networks, ContextWeb and Technorati, have brought me over $100 last month.
In conclusion, this month inspired me a lot and also suggested me some ideas to improve my blog in the future. I will invest more time and money for my posts this month, hopefully you will find them interesting. By the way, could you share how your blog was working last month?

Yeah, due to the big US traffic coming to my blog last month, the revenue was nearly doubled. I just hope this July could be as good as last month.
Focus is still the best Genesis child theme in my view. So, our blogs will have the same look?

Congrats on getting PR 2, and the first thing I noticed is your Alexa ranking. However even I have improved alexa ranking for my main blog shariff.org and also received PR 2 in the june 11 PR update.
My traffic is not good as yours but I receiving some very decent traffic and PR update it has doubled my blog traffic. However I am very happy that my bounce rate is has reduced from 80% to 30% this is the very significant change apart from traffic in my blog.
Wow, that’s a very impressive bounce rate. I think the bounce rate is much more important than PR update. What did you do to reduce your bounce rate, Imran?

That’s the thing I’m worrying, it’s very difficult to get stumbled on a post. So, we still need to optimize our posts for the consistent traffic sources like search engines.
You seems to have had a good month also, I’ll get a SEO plugin to see its effect this month.
Not really a good month before I had that new SEO plug-in installed and used but I bet you will see a huge income boost this month (July!)

We are talking about the ClickBump SEO plugin. This offers some similar features as SEOPressor and some more extra ones. Michael at CravingTech had gained traffic dramatically after using this plugin, so I will give it a try on this blog also.

I have seen a steady increase in blog traffic over the last couple of months (June being better than May which was better than April) as I have put more effort into regular posts and catchy headings. It is heartening to watch a graph of yoru stats move steadily upwards!
