Apple’s WWDC 2011 is just one week ahead and there are some rumors suggesting that the iPhone 5′s release date would not be delayed till September.
Earlier, we didn’t expect the release of an iPhone as they said that the conference will be all about software, specifically the iOS 5, Mac OSX Lion and the cloud music service. However, Apple fanboys’ worry could be relieved now as some reliable sources saying that some selected UK and Australian journalists have received invitations to the WWDC in San Francisco by a designated iPhone PR team. The invitations were sent stealthily so that the release of iPhone 5/4S wouldn’t be leaked out.
Charlie Brown, one of the Australian tech journalists that received the invitation, tweeted that there will be something big in WWDC this year. However, the tweet has been deleted due to Apple’s request probably.

If the rumor becomes true, we could see the announcement of iPhone 5/4S right next week and that’s really great news for people hesitating in buying the iPhone 4. Do you think it is possible for the release of iPhone 5 in June?
Whatever it is, I’m always excited whenever Apple releases something. I do hope it’s iPhone 5 although there may not be enough new features to make me excited just yet. But Apple always has surprises!
Too bad I didn’t get invited along
It is their big mistake to not inviting tech bloggers like you, Michael.
We even don’t know if it is the iPhone 5 or not. Like all rumors saying, the iPhone 5/4S doesn’t have significant improvements and I doubt it can’t be called something big. Anyways, the WWDC this year is worth waiting after the rumor.
At least I’m excited with the new iOS 5!
its funny how apple is so unpredictable some times.. haha..
