iPhone 5 will be released in July 2011

Despite reception issues, somehow iPhone 4 has been able to be on top of the smartphone industry. However it is still a big scandal of Apple and sure people don’t forget it. According to some reliable sources, the iPhone 5 is going to be released in October 2011 and solve the issue on reception completely.

Many people expect Apple will announce it sooner in the WWDC 2011 but it almost can’t happen. At this point it’s very clear that Apple is still passing some tests and pre-production stage carefully for this iPhone 5 so that the device will be flawless.

Here are some expected features of the iPhone 5:

  • A new, thinner and sleeker body design.
  • Face Time (Video chat) on 3G and 4G (no longer restricted to WiFi only).
  • Act as a payment method in various stores and establishments (no additional phone attachment required).
  • Integrate the NFC technology using a hardware from NXP Semiconductor.
  • Face recognition.
  • Hologram Projector or Pico Projector.
  • Custom E-mail alerts with ability to assign different tones to each email address.
  • OLED screen.
  • Scratch proof and shatter proof screen.
  • Extended battery life = 14 hours talk time on 3G and 7 hours on 4G. Standby 600 hours.
  • High Definition audio.
  • Messaging indicator light.
  • True GPS built in.
  • FM radio receiver
  • Pop-up Radial Menus

  1. Ha I wish it would be that good, maybe another 10 years down the line or so

    • If they could integrate hologram projector to the iPhone 5, it would be really 10 years down the line. I hope Apple will surprise us once more. :)

  2. I can see everything except the hologram projector on the iPhone 5. Just too much of a jump

  3. I expect all of those features except the hologram project. yeah it would be awesome but if they put that in the iphone 5 it would cost over 1,500$ in the US(with a contract). also i expect Flash support, 8 megapixel camera, landscape mode, HD output, iOS5 with more customization, and not only duel proccesors

  4. i would like to have one more feature in the iPhone 5: that you could share your 3g as a wifi on an iPhone 5

  5. That’s great! i would love to try that one out, You did a great job in discussing that one.

  6. Now, 600 hours standby is MUCH NEEDED ! Can’t wait. I have the 3GS. Great phone already.
iPhone 5 should be phenomenal. Can’t wait till July.

  7. Apple really needs to step up their game.

1st they will most likely put 8 mega pixel camera when most phones have had thay for at least two years. So they should make it a 12 megapixel but they will not do it for iphone 5.

2nd they need to dramatically increase their screen size. Wich can easily be done with out increasing phone size. We don’t need to have a home button at.
    all.
3rd add 64gigs to the memory they have not increased it for the last two phones.

    • Yeah, there will be some significant improvements in the upcoming iPhone 5. We will see its 8MP camera and a 4″ retina display. With regard to memory, we can expect it will include a SD card slot?

  8. I switched my family of 4 from Verison to Sprint because they were way cheaper for full text and internet. The signal is as good as anyone else without the service attitude. I do wish they had the billing detail that verison has on its
web site. With verison I can see all phone traffic (calls) on my kids phone. Sprint needs to do this. Sprint still wins in the cost/benefit arena.

  9. Wow, this piece of writing is good, my younger sister is analyzing these things,
so I am going to let know her.
