Bill Saigon – Rest in Peace
Bill’s real name was Tran Son Hung. The old man has become famous since 2007, when an American tourist, Barry Dahl, shot some videos of him.
Bill was a postcard salesman at Ben Thanh market – Ho Chi Minh city – Vietnam. I have just heard some information that Bill passed away on August 25, 2008 during his sleep, he had been sick with pneumonia, he just became too weak and died. He was cremated a short time after.

R.I.P Bill, miss you
after watching this video about Mr Bill, and feel very shy. Comparing to him, i have a really better condition to study English, but i have never try my best. i am really admire him. i like the saying what he wrote in his hand. so, let feel by heart, every things, you will feel happy.
Mr Bill also give me an advice: learning is never too late. let start right now!
Actually, he started watching American action movies when he was 13, that’s the reason he has that American accent
But he only learned English from these films 4 years ago. Watching films, especially documentary films, is an excellent way to learn any foreign language.
